Advanced Readings in International Business and Economics

Do you have a product or service you're looking to expand internationally? Would you like to gain a better understanding of the international market within which you operate? In this project, student-consultants working in small teams will analyze the current international business environment in your specific industry and the opportunities and challenges you face. Students will then apply their knowledge best practices of small and medium enterprises and multinationals in developed, emerging, and developing countries and common markets towards addressing your challenges and capitalizing on your opportunities. The students will develop a report and presentation for your organization upon completion of the project.

Virtual Interns in Technical Management and Services
TMAS 5160
Virtual Internship Opportunity: Improve the use of technical services in your business: Bring on one or up to 4 students from KPU, who are finishing their Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Technical Management and Services to be your paid interns. This is a paid project-based experience. Students will work on one or more projects of your choosing over the internship period, up to 320 hours over a 4 months period, connecting with you as requested over using virtual communication tools. Students are available from January 11, 2021 till April 23, 2021. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, student placements will only occur virtually, but should the situation change, we can discuss other options. Our students are located in BC (Lower Mainland).

Green and Clean Technologies for Business and Society's Sustainability

Corporate social responsibility is a growing trend; what has your organization done to keep up? In this project, students will analyze your organization’s environmental, social, or economic sustainability initiatives as well as inspect the use of any green technologies used within the organization. Students will provide recommendations on how your organization can improve their use of green technologies. This may include new sustainability initiatives and a report of recommendations for green technologies that could be used.
