Details

The project involves developing an advanced measurement and drafting module for Quote Kong Ltd, aimed at enhancing their application with cutting-edge computer vision technology. The primary goal is to integrate a guided photogrammetry workflow that processes user-captured wall photos. This system will utilize a custom-trained model to accurately identify architectural and utility features within the images. By synthesizing this visual data with user-provided dimensions, either manually or via Bluetooth laser input, the project seeks to generate precise 2D wall elevations and a comprehensive top-down floor plan. This digital twin will serve as a foundational tool for subsequent design, estimating, and project management tasks, streamlining the workflow and improving accuracy in architectural planning.

Deliverables

The project deliverables include a functional prototype of the measurement and drafting module that integrates computer vision with photogrammetry. The prototype should be capable of processing user-captured photos to produce accurate 2D wall elevations and a top-down floor plan. Additionally, documentation detailing the workflow, model training process, and integration steps will be provided to ensure seamless implementation and future scalability.
