Details

8.0 Entertainment is preparing to launch "Talk That Walk" on September 14, 2025, and is seeking funding to support this event and the Fall 2025 season. The project aims to engage a team of students to draft, refine, and submit grant, sponsorship, and financing applications. This will provide students with the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in business communication, finance, and project management. The project focuses on developing persuasive proposals that align with potential funders' interests and requirements. Students will gain hands-on experience in researching funding opportunities, understanding application processes, and crafting compelling narratives to secure financial support. The project is designed to be completed within 80 hours and is suitable for students in business, finance, or communication programs.

Seth Whittaker, the Director of 8.O Entertainment Inc., is a multi-disciplinary artist
with a rich background in theatre, film, television, and music. His journey in the
film industry began in 2010, culminating in a conservatory diploma in acting from
the New Image College of Fine Arts in 2012. Seth's career is highlighted by roles in
notable productions such as "Sex Sent Me To The ER,
" "Night at the Museum 3,
"
"Continuum,
" "Firefly Lane,
" "Batwoman,
" and "The Stand,
"
. Inspired by his
experiences and a desire to amplify the voices of equity-deserving groups, Seth
aims to create a collaborative, innovative, and provocative ecosystem of creators
that is reflective of the community it serves. 8.O Entertainment Inc. represents
Seth's vision to integrate artists' talents and visions both domestically and
internationally, providing resources for commercial success and inspiring fans
through integrated events and media initiatives. The company is renowned for its
bold approach to events, tailoring experiences to showcase the finest talents and
collaborating with local vendors and sponsors, fostering community growth. With
a commitment to exposing and supporting artists, filmmakers, and other creators,
8.O Entertainment Inc. is the brainchild of Seth's passion for the arts and his
mission to elevate the artistic community both locally and globally. Achieving this
requires we invest in the long-term development of artists, ensuring initiatives like
our subscription/membership model at 8.O. have a lasting impact. This
program has already supported numerous emerging talents, nurturing a
supportive ecosystem where artists don't just survive—they thrive. 8.O
Entertainment Inc. stands as a collaborative platform where artists find not just
opportunities but a nurturing environment for growth. Leveraging an extensive
network and deep industry expertise, we've successfully connected artists to
funding, mentorship, and crucial distribution channels to amplify their creative
vision. Part of this approach involves leveraging technology. For example, our
development of the Mass Accountability App revolutionizes how we engage on
social issues, reach new audiences, and amplify artists' voices. Our collaboration
with Mass Accountability on the "Mass Accountability Project" resulted in the
successful launch of a social safety platform, showcasing the potential of
underrepresented voices in tech and arts. This project alone brought together 8
collaborative partners to bring the vision of the app to life which is currently in the
alpha testing stage. In essence, 8.O Entertainment Inc. is more than a business;
it's a movement for change. Through empowerment, community enrichment, and
shaping the future of the arts, we stand as a testament to what passion, creativity,
and a shared vision can achieve. Looking ahead, we're excited about the launch
of our innovation hub in Barbados, which represents the next chapter in our
journey to redefine the arts and tech landscape
